Finance & Operations Senior Analyst

Job Description

Daybreak Health, a digital mental health system for youth, is seeking a Finance & Operations Senior Analyst. This role reports to the VP of Finance and involves analyzing financial performance, maintaining key processes, and ensuring operational efficiency. The analyst will support internal and external stakeholders through strategic reporting, forecasting, and financial operations.Daybreak Health values a mission-driven approach, collaboration, efficiency, clear communication, and mental health.Responsibilities:

• Perform ongoing fluctuation analysis.
• Prepare month-end decks and reports.
• Manage monthly bank compliance reports and collections processes.
• Prepare and distribute commission statements.
• Create and maintain equity forecasts.
• Update the financial model.
• Conduct ongoing Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) reporting.
• Build relevant dashboards in Mosaic and Looker.
• Prepare materials for and actively participate in month-end financial reviews.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience working within healthcare and the insurance payor space.
• 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, operations, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and variance analysis.
• Strong understanding of CAC reporting and pipeline/conversion metrics.
• Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Experience building dashboards in tools like Mosaic, Looker, or equivalent.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with excellent organizational skills.
