Software Engineer - Full-Stack - Apps Platform

Job Description

Make is seeking a Software Engineer to join their Apps Platform team in Prague, Czechia. The engineer will become part of a cross-functional team focused on advancing Make's integrations platform, which is used by both external and internal integration developers. Make empowers anyone to design, build, and automate anything without coding skills.

• Designing, developing, and implementing features to improve scalability, performance, and usability.
• Refactoring and optimizing code.
• Debugging, writing tests, and launching code.
• Pitching ideas and writing documentation.
• Swapping feedback, reviewing code, and collaborating within the team.
• Participating in initiatives to shape tooling and engineering practices.

Requirements:

• Mid-level experience in back-end technologies such as Node.js, Typescript, and relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred).
• Familiarity with Docker, containerization, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks for both backend and frontend.
• Cloud service development experience.
• Hands-on experience with a front-end framework (Angular preferred).
• Proficiency in English (verbal & written).
• Agile mindset with experience in Scrum or Kanban.
