Job Description
Make is seeking an Email Marketing Lead to optimize its email programs. The role involves strategic thinking, data analysis, and technical expertise to enhance email marketing effectiveness. This newly created role entails driving email marketing activities, supporting teams, and growing Make’s technical capabilities in email marketing. The Email Marketing Lead will:
  • Manage the overall portfolio of email activity, partnering with teams across Make.
  • Develop and implement processes for impactful communications to Make customers.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for tooling, advocating for technology solutions.
  • Partner with teams to source and share data that drives customer acquisition and retention.
  • Manage customer segmentation and targeting for personalized campaigns.
  • Ensure appropriate reporting is available for email performance evaluation.
  • Use data to identify and drive improvements in customer communication.
  • Develop email best practices and provide training to team members.
  • Ensure email practices comply with policies and data protection regulations.
Requirements include:
  • 5+ years of experience in email marketing.
  • Knowledge of email best practices (technical, content, and performance).
  • Strong experimental and analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making.
  • Proven track record in managing a team.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Familiarity with email design and coding concepts (HTML, CSS, Canva, Figma).
  • Passion for customer-centric marketing.
  • Experience within a digital workflow.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot).
  • Excellent communication skills.
