Make is seeking an experienced Email Marketing Lead to enhance the effectiveness of its email programs. This role involves strategic thinking, data analysis, and technical skills to manage email marketing activities and support various teams within the company.

The Email Marketing Lead will focus on customer engagement, collaborate with teams to ensure a comprehensive approach to email activities, and drive impactful communications. The ideal candidate should be a pragmatic leader capable of balancing operational tasks with long-term strategic goals. The candidate will be supported by a network of peers and will contribute to the company's growth.

Responsibilities:

• Manage overall email activities and ensure maximum effectiveness.
• Develop and implement processes for timely delivery of communications.
• Act as a subject matter expert for email tooling and technology solutions.
• Partner with teams to source data for customer acquisition and retention.
• Manage customer segmentation and targeting for personalized campaigns.
• Ensure appropriate reporting is available for email performance.
• Use data to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop email best practices and provide training to team members.
• Ensure email practices comply with policies and regulations.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in email marketing.
• Knowledge of email best practices.
• Strong analytical mindset.
• Proficiency in English.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, Canva, Figma.
• Passion for customer-centric marketing.
• Track record in leading teams.
• Experience working with content writers, designers, and technical teams.
• Proficiency in marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot).
• Excellent communication skills.
