Job Description

Sotheby's is seeking an Analyst to join their Commercial & Business Management teams. The Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the maintenance of the global guarantee portfolio, pipeline compilation, and Gallery Network management.

This is global and cross functional role. The Analyst needs to think analytically and proactively solve problems.

Responsibilities:

• Managing the tracking of the global guarantee consignment portfolio.
• Preparing and presenting global pipeline summaries.
• Maintaining a database of pricing scenarios.
• Guiding Business Directors through due diligence.
• Preparing analyses after major Fine Arts auctions.
• Managing consignments and deals for the Gallery Network.
• Reviewing and confirming Sotheby’s global market share.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 2+ years of professional experience in data management, investing, banking, corporate finance, financial planning & analysis, consulting and/or related role.
• Advanced MS Powerpoint and MS Excel skills are mandatory.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Flawless attention to detail.
• Motivated, creative and conscientious self-starter.
