Verkada, a leader in cloud-based B2B physical security, is seeking a Marketing Development Representative (MDR) for its Australian team. This role is based in Sydney, Australia.Verkada is rapidly expanding with a presence across three continents and serves over 30,000 customers globally. The MDR program is a 10-month initiative designed to equip individuals with outbound sales and prospecting fundamentals. Successful completion may lead to promotion to a Senior MDR position and future opportunities as an Account Executive.Responsibilities:
- Make a high volume of outbound calls daily to engage potential customers.
- Identify prospective clients and generate new business opportunities for Verkada.
- Qualify leads and manage them through the sales pipeline.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to develop strategies.
- Stay informed about industry trends.
- 6+ months of experience in sales or customer service preferred.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with potential clients.
- Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills with an "inbox zero" mindset.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
