Job Description
PhonePe Group is seeking an Associate Manager/Manager, Licensing and Regulatory, Payments to join their team in Bengaluru. This role is within the Financial Services and Payments sector, reporting to the Senior Manager Legal. The candidate will play a crucial role in drafting contracts, providing legal advice, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Role Involves:
- Drafting, negotiating, and closing contracts with external clients.
- Providing legal advice on policies and agreements related to payments and financial services.
- Scanning the regulatory environment and analyzing new legislations.
- Assisting stakeholders on ongoing and new legal risks.
- Reviewing and vetting official communications and documentations.
- Monitoring timelines for license applications and renewals.
- Maintaining a database on applicable laws and notifications.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8+ years’ experience in Financial Services/FinTech/Payments.
- University Degree in law with relevant subject matter expertise.
- Experience in drafting, vetting, and negotiating agreements.
- Strong understanding of risk identification and management.
