Job Description

Carrot Fertility is seeking a Fertility Clinical Specialist in the UK to provide medical and clinical expertise to enhance their fertility program. The specialist will offer evidence-based guidance and insights, staying up-to-date on regulations and practices in the UK. They will collaborate with internal teams to adapt fertility programs to meet the needs of UK patients and offer clinical and scientific guidance to ensure culturally sensitive and practically relevant services.

The role involves evaluating the latest literature, participating in virtual discussions, and contributing to a team passionate about reproductive health and healthy aging.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert guidance on fertility treatments and assisted reproductive technologies in the UK.
  • Staying up-to-date on HFEA guidelines and ensuring recommendations align with UK laws and standards.
  • Advising on country-specific clinical practices and emerging trends in fertility.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to adapt fertility programs.
  • Offering clinical and scientific guidance to Carrot’s Clinical Team.
  • Evaluating and reviewing the latest relevant literature.
  • Participating in virtual discussions with cross-functional teams.

Requirements include:

  • Medical Degree specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Member or Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG/FRCOG).
  • Subspecialty training in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery accredited by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG).
  • Registered and licensed to practice with the General Medical Council (GMC) in the UK.
  • At least 5 years of clinical practice in reproductive health, with expertise in menopause and pregnancy care.
  • Supervising physician, Lead physician level of experience in the field of obstetrics and gynecology
  • Knowledge of diseases, conditions, and treatments impacting reproductive health, pregnancy and menopause.
  • Proficient in conducting research and generating professional summaries.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work remotely with reliable online resources and a confidential workspace.
  • Cultural sensitivity and awareness regarding reproductive health, pregnancy and menopause.
