Butternut Box, a B Corp-certified company committed to sustainability and quality, is seeking a German-speaking Operations Lead to optimize final-mile logistics across the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany. This role involves managing a fulfilment partner and last-mile delivery providers to ensure timely and complete delivery of fresh meals to customers.Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing delivery performance across NL, BE & DE.
- Managing daily & long-term capacity planning with the fulfilment partner.
- Optimizing delivery routes and performance.
- Tracking key logistics KPIs, focusing on On Time In Full (OTIF).
- Planning for peak seasons & public holidays.
- Improving operational efficiency and delivery flexibility.
- Collaborating with Ops Managers in other markets.
- Supporting European expansion efforts.
- Fluent in German & English (Dutch is a plus) at a C1 level.
- Based in the Netherlands or within commutable distance from Berlin.
- Experience managing third-party logistics (3PL) partners & fulfilment partners.
- Ability to manage fast-paced, high-accuracy operations.
- Comfortable with data & KPI tracking (OTIF, SLA performance, cost per delivery).
- Problem-solving mindset and excellent communication skills.
- A self-starter, adaptable, and comfortable with ambiguity.
- Gross annual salary: €42,000 - €48,000 (based on experience)
