Bitpanda is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with Golang expertise to join their team in Bucharest. This role is focused on building Bitpanda's all-in-one digital asset infrastructure, empowering banks, fintechs, and online platforms to offer regulated trading and custody services. The ideal candidate will shape the future of the platform by building powerful systems from the ground up, optimizing performance at scale, and driving engineering excellence.Responsibilities:
- Architect and build high-performance, distributed systems in Go.
- Craft clean, tested code with robust test suites.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to explore ideas and solutions.
- Level up infrastructure, creating secure and scalable environments.
- Shape Bitpanda's microservices architecture.
- Pro-level Go skills with experience in production-grade Golang.
- Database versatility with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- API mastery with experience in REST, GraphQL, and gRPC.
- Streaming-native thinking with hands-on experience with Kafka or similar message brokers.
- Cloud-native experience with AWS services like EKS, DynamoDB, and Secrets Manager.
- Hybrid-working model with 60 Work From Anywhere days.
- Participation in stock option plan.
