Engineering Manager-Database Platform

Job Description

Ditto is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead and expand the capabilities of their database platform. The Engineering Manager will guide a team of engineers to build and enhance key backend systems.

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers.
• Plan and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in the design and implementation of system architectures.
• Enhance database performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with product managers to shape the roadmap.
• Support software operations.
• Foster a culture of trust and collaboration.

Requirements:

• 3+ years managing software engineering teams.
• 5+ years of technical leadership experience in platform and database technologies.
• Deep knowledge of database systems design, maintenance, and optimization.
• Experience delivering platform or infrastructure products.
• Ability to manage remote, globally distributed teams.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead teams and drive projects forward.
