Director of Product - AI

Job Description

Karbon, the leading practice management software for accounting firms, is seeking a Director of Product - AI. This role is based in Vancouver, BC, Canada. The Director of Product will shape Karbon AI's product vision and strategy, driving innovation and collaborating with various teams.

The Role Involves:

• Leading product strategy and roadmap development for Karbon’s AI suite of products.
• Conducting customer research and market analysis to identify opportunities.
• Translating customer insights into detailed product specifications.
• Collaborating with R&D throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Defining and monitoring key product metrics to measure success.
• Partnering with sales and customer success to enable product adoption and satisfaction.
• Communicating Karbon AI’s product vision to customers, analysts, and the community.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in product management in the SaaS space.
• Experience building products using LLM/AI technologies.
• Deep understanding of data privacy, data security, and/or AI governance.
• Strong technical acumen to translate complex concepts into product requirements.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Data-driven mindset focused on metrics to measure product performance.
• Passion for building innovative products and understanding of agentic workflows.
