VP of Product - AI

Job Description

Karbon is seeking a VP of Product - AI to lead the future of Karbon AI's product vision and strategy. The VP will be a key member of the team, playing a pivotal role in driving product innovation and collaborating closely with engineering, design, sales, and customer success to deliver exceptional value to Karbon's customers. The position is remote and located in the United States.

What This Role Involves:

• Leading product strategy and roadmap development for Karbon AI’s suite of products.
• Working directly with the CPO on the core strategy and vision.
• Conducting deep customer research and market analysis to identify opportunities and unmet needs.
• Translating customer insights into detailed product specifications and use cases.
• Collaborating closely with R&D throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Defining and monitoring key product metrics to measure success and drive continuous improvement.
• Partnering with sales and customer success to enable successful product adoption and customer satisfaction.
• Evangelizing and communicating Karbon AI’s product and vision directly with customers, analysts, and the global community of practitioners.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of success in the SaaS space.
• Experience building products using LLM/AI technologies from concept to go to market
• Deep understanding of data privacy, data security, and/or AI governance
• Strong technical acumen, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear product requirements.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
• Data-driven mindset, with a focus on using metrics to measure product performance and customer impact.
• Passion for building innovative products that solve real-world problems
• You understand agentic workflows and/or have done something similar in the past.
