Affirm is seeking an Analytics Manager to help shape its Direct to Consumer Marketplace. This role involves optimizing offer performance, driving user engagement, and delivering merchant value and profitability. The Analytics Manager will collaborate across Product, Revenue, Marketing, and Credit teams to drive actionable insights and measurable improvements.
Responsibilities - Overseeing day-to-day decisions about which offers are surfaced to users.
- Developing and applying frameworks to prioritize competing merchant offers.
- Monitoring marketplace performance metrics and adjusting strategies.
- Building and maintaining dashboards and reports to track key Marketplace KPIs.
- Partnering with Sales, Client Success and Marketing teams to grow Affirm’s network.
- Collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to enhance ranking algorithms.
- Contributing to strategic initiatives that test and refine placement opportunities.
- Conducting loan-level profitability analyses.
- Analyzing customer lifetime value (LTV) and customer acquisition costs (CAC).
- Evaluating affiliate portfolio performance by integrating network data.
Requirements - 7+ years in analytics; direct experience in analytics for marketplace businesses or platforms.
- Experience with data tools such as SQL, Python, and affiliate platforms (e.g., Affluent, Nucleus).
- Understanding of user experience, merchant outcomes, and profitability.
- Knowledge of backend search systems and relevance optimization is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to work with large datasets and perform complex analyses.
- Ability to align detailed operational work with broader business objectives.
- Experience working cross-functionally with technical and business teams.
- Track record of driving results amidst competing priorities.
