Senior Product Manager, International at Affirm

Affirm is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join its International team. This role focuses on driving Affirm's expansion and growth in new international markets, with an initial focus on the United Kingdom. The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for driving the execution, growth, and scale of Affirm in the UK market, adapting the product to local needs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role involves working closely with engineering teams and stakeholders across the organization to drive product development and prioritization. Effective stakeholder management and the ability to navigate organizational dynamics are crucial. The ideal candidate should be commercially minded, demonstrate high agency, and be comfortable with technical conversations.

Responsibilities:

• Drive the execution, growth, and scale of Affirm in the United Kingdom.
• Adapt Affirm’s product to the UK market by understanding customer needs, driving merchant adoption, analyzing performance data, and iterating on the product’s features and capabilities.
• Drive success metrics by shipping high-impact work.
• Partner with engineering teams to drive product development and prioritization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to shape the product roadmap.
• Understand Affirm UK users and merchants deeply.
• Identify and create seamless experiences for merchants.

Requirements:

• Experience managing technical software products from kick-off to post-launch.
• Experience working on consumer technology products in the UK or Europe, preferably fintech or BNPL.
• Comfort diving into technical details, iterating on designs, and analyzing funnels.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience influencing engineering teams outside of direct purview.
• Bias towards action and ability to navigate obstacles.
• Ability to turn ambiguous inputs into a solid action plan.
• Experience shipping high-quality products on time.
• Comfort with the commercial aspects of product development.
