The Senior Engineering Manager will coordinate projects, analyze technology and resource needs, and contribute to a culture of innovation and collaboration.What this role involves:
  • Ensuring engineers are productive, happy, learning, and doing meaningful work
  • Coordinating and directing projects, making detailed plans to accomplish technical and product goals
  • Analyzing technology, resource needs, and market demand to plan and assess the feasibility of projects
  • Interviewing and hiring top-tier software engineers
  • Mentoring engineers and helping cultivate their career aspirations
  • Leading a foundational, multi-discipline team of engineers working on complex, full-stack projects
  • Building or integrating frameworks promoting experimentation and safe release of new features
  • Working with multiple teams across the company including product, design, legal, and customer support
  • Reviewing code and contributing to coding efforts
Requirements:
  • 10+ years in software engineering
  • 5+ years in management or leadership roles
  • 2+ years of experience leading leads
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Experience in high-growth environments
  • Excellent collaboration and communication abilities
