Job Description
Pure Storage is seeking an Engineering Director to lead the growth of a new cloud storage product. This role is based in Prague, Czech Republic, and a relocation package is provided. The Engineering Director will lead and inspire multiple engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. They will champion Pure's enterprise storage expertise for hyperscalers, transforming and adapting existing systems as needed.

Role involves:
  • Championing Pure's enterprise storage expertise for hyperscalers.
  • Collaborating on company-wide initiatives to adapt to the cloud business model.
  • Leading and mentoring multiple engineering managers and teams.
  • Cultivating an engineering culture that values high-quality products, open communication, and teamwork.
  • Partnering with Engineering and Product leadership to create impactful solutions.
  • Developing and leading strategy and roadmap.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to deliver end-to-end system-level products.

Requirements:
  • 10+ years of technical leadership experience.
  • 5+ years of experience leading and mentoring teams.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Director in a multi-geographic setting.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven track record in achieving high service uptime and implementing SRE functions.
  • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering reliable, enterprise-grade cloud services.
  • Experience in building, deploying, and operating cloud services.
  • Strong ability to lead and develop engineering management teams.
  • Skilled prioritization and project management expertise.
  • Ability to lead strategic initiatives while providing detailed technical guidance.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, with a results-oriented and resourceful approach.
