Pure Storage is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of software developers in Prague, Czech Republic. The Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading the team in the creation of product features and will partner with product management and various other software teams.
The successful candidate must understand the dynamics of global R&D while at the same time have the ability to adapt to Pure values and leadership attributes. This role requires the ability to lead and influence multiple stakeholders across cross-functional teams.
Role involves:
- Leading a team of software developers.
- Providing technical direction and mentoring.
- Partnering with cross-functional teams.
- Leading the creation of product features.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of software engineering management experience
- 5+ years of software development experience in languages like C++, Java, Python or Go
- Proven expertise in managing projects throughout the entire SDLC
- Strong customer focus
- Experience introducing and growing an agile (Scrum) environment
- Solid knowledge of end-to-end quality best practices
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
