Job Description
Pure Storage is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of software developers in Prague, Czech Republic. This role involves leading the team in the creation of product features, partnering with cross-functional teams, and providing technical direction and mentoring to employees. The Engineering Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring successful project outcomes and adapting to Pure Storage's values and leadership attributes. This role requires the ability to lead and influence multiple stakeholders across cross-functional teams.
Role Involves:
- Leading a team of software developers in Prague.
- Creating product features in partnership with product management and other software teams.
- Providing technical direction and mentoring to team members.
- Managing projects throughout the entire SDLC.
- Ensuring feedback loops from customers into development.
- Introducing and growing an agile (Scrum) environment.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of software engineering management experience.
- 5+ years of software development experience in languages like C++, Java, Python, or Go.
- Proven expertise in managing projects throughout the entire SDLC.
- Strong customer focus.
- Experience introducing and growing an agile (Scrum) environment.
- Solid knowledge of end-to-end quality best practices.
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
