PitchBook is seeking a Sr. Reporter, Leveraged Loans for its Leveraged Commentary & Data (LCD) unit. The role involves reporting on US leveraged loan issuance and developing contacts within the asset class.

The Senior Reporter will contribute to PitchBook's Editorial team, focusing on providing insights to customers in the private markets. PitchBook offers a flexible work environment promoting curiosity, collaboration, and professional development.

Responsibilities:

  • Report on and write real-time news stories detailing US leveraged loan issuance
  • Develop and maintain contacts within the leveraged loan space
  • Follow trends, market moves, and industry developments
  • Provide context around new-issue launches and produce in-depth analytical pieces
  • Work with Data Operations, Analysts, and Designers on data or news-related initiatives
  • Support the vision and values of the company

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4-8 years of experience covering financial markets
  • Contacts within the US leveraged loan market or ability to develop them
  • Ability to work with data in Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively under real-time deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
