Pure Storage is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join their Platform Analytics Team. This role is based in Prague, Czech Republic. The Analytics Engineer will contribute to reshaping the data storage industry by defining and developing analytics architecture and tools. They will facilitate business decision-making through data analysis, project management, and strategy recommendations to hardware engineering leadership.   • Defining and developing analytics architecture and tools
  • Facilitating business decision-making
  • Project/program management of data-driven decisions
  • Analyzing systems data and recommending business strategy
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years using Python
  • Minimum of 5 years using SQL
  • Experience with Databases (Snowflake even better)
  • Experience with Git, Jenkins/Airflow desirable
  • Industry experience implementing Machine Learning desirable
  • Evaluation of model accuracy/precision
  • Understanding of how features affect model output
  • Familiarity with evaluating ML algorithms
  • Statistical Analysis desirable
  • Excellent verbal communication & collaboration skills
  • BS or advanced degree in CS/CE or equivalent experience
  • Must be willing and able to work in an open office, team environment
