Technical Services Engineer, Portworx

Job Description

Pure Storage is seeking a Technical Services Engineer, Portworx, to join their team in Bangalore. This role involves analyzing, troubleshooting, and supporting large-scale customer deployments in public and private clouds. The engineer will provide technical expertise throughout the Portworx deployment phases for key customers, own and track customer issues, resolve support cases, and collaborate with customers to troubleshoot deployments and application workflows. They will also work with the engineering team to analyze logs and reproduce customer issues.

• Analyze and troubleshoot customer deployments
• Provide technical expertise during Portworx deployments
• Own and track customer issues using a ticket tracking system
• Resolve support cases across all severity levels
• Collaborate with the engineering team to analyze logs and reproduce customer issues

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical field or related experience
• 2-4 years of customer-facing technical support/SRE experience
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes/Docker/Tanzu/VMware container solutions (CKA is a plus)
• Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud technologies
• Experience with DevOps tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Terraform (a plus)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
