Senior DevOps Engineer at Pure Storage

Pure Storage is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their team in Prague, Czechia. The ideal candidate will work with a team of system admins and coders to automate tools and infrastructure, enabling greater efficiency across teams. He/She will be responsible for scripting automation to empower users, ensuring infrastructure detects and self-corrects issues, and integrating systems. The Senior DevOps Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new systems, research and identify user-friendly products, and architect and develop automated monitoring and alerts.Role involves:

• Automating infrastructure and tools.
• Writing scripts for automation and self-correction.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Architecting and developing automated monitoring and alerts.
• Mentoring junior DevOps engineers.
• Participating in an on-call rotation.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps/Cloud Engineering/SW Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience supporting CI/CD or DevOps toolchains (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Sonarqube, Vault).
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Perl, PowerShell, or Bash).
• Experience with configuration management systems (Puppet, Ansible, Chef, or Terraform).
• Understanding of APIs and service lifecycle.
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments.
• Knowledge of monitoring and alerting systems (Nagios, Splunk).
