Principal Product Manager, FlashBlade, File at Pure Storage

Pure Storage is seeking a Principal Product Manager for FlashBlade, File, to be based in Prague, Czech Republic. This role will be part of the FlashBlade Product Team, guiding the roadmap for the Unified Fast File and Object product. The Product Manager will define and drive features and capabilities, and will be responsible for market and business analysis and product direction.

The position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, the CTO office, Partners, Marketing, Sales, and Executive Staff. The Pure Storage Product Management team is responsible for shaping the future of the all-flash array market.

Role Involves:

• Developing and executing product strategy.
• Conducting market and competitive analysis.
• Collaborating with customers, partners, and internal teams on go-to-market strategy.
• Driving product roadmap and development.
• Monitoring performance and ensuring customer success.
• Providing strategic advisory and thought leadership.
• Communicating and advocating for Pure and the product area.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in Product Management.
• Proven ability to develop a vision, strategy, and execution plan.
• Familiarity with cloud business, SaaS, and associated use cases (file storage, NFS, and SMB protocols knowledge is preferred but not required).
• Ability to manage the overall business aspects of the offering.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams to create programs, services, and ecosystem partnerships.
• Knowledge of market and competitive analysis.
• Strategic thinking and business acumen.
• Experience in taking products to market with a focus on business growth.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Effective problem-solving abilities and innovative thinking.
• Adaptability to operate in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
• Proven ability to take initiative and drive results.
• Enthusiasm for technology and a desire to collaborate with a world-class software engineering team.
• Ability to deliver compelling presentations to diverse internal and external audiences.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred. An MBA is desirable.
• Understanding of NAS vendors and ecosystem partners is preferred but not required.
