Job Description
Pure Storage is seeking a District Manager to lead a team of focused account executives. The District Manager will be responsible for building strong business relationships, supporting sales presentations, and providing strategic direction to the sales team. This role involves recruiting direct and aligned reporting roles, accurate forecasting, AE development, territory planning, and channel partner relationship development.

Role involves:
  • Leading and inspiring a team of SLED Account Executives.
  • Hiring additional Account Executives.
  • Providing leadership to the extended Pure Storage team.
  • Managing team performance related to KPIs.
  • Maintaining a 4X pipeline to goal.
  • Recruiting and maintaining strong relationships with channel partners.
  • Driving sales call activity.
  • Ensuring team members attain or over-achieve quota.
  • Delivering business results.
  • Weekly review of activities and pipeline.
  • Performance management of the team.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years successful field sales management experience in storage or core IT infrastructure.
  • Experience selling to IT departments and IT management.
  • Passionate and persuasive with excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Proven track record of recruitment and associate development.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organized, detail and process oriented.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and problem solve.
  • Ability to coordinate Pure Storage resources to execute a complex sales strategy.
  • Ability to use CRM and other online tools effectively.
  • BA/BS required.
