PitchBook is seeking a Director, APAC Private Capital to lead a team of analysts within the Institutional Research Group. The Director will manage and mentor a team of analysts covering venture capital, private equity, M&A, institutional allocators, global economic conditions, and other relevant areas.
Role involves: - Leading, managing, and mentoring a team of analysts.
- Establishing research frameworks and providing independent commentary.
- Developing and managing a research pipeline including quarterly market updates.
- Writing and editing research reports.
- Utilizing proprietary PitchBook data to develop actionable analysis.
- Leading cross-department collaboration and overseeing direct-to-client distribution channels.
- Developing relationships with industry professionals.
- Managing and responding to inquiries from clients and the press.
- Conducting quarterly and annual team performance reviews.
Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Economics preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in equity research, investment banking, or related financial research.
- 7+ years of experience managing analyst teams.
- Strong understanding of financial concepts.
- Strong interest in M&A and private financial markets.
- Critical thinker with an analytical mindset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in SQL and PitchBook Platform a plus.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
