Pure Storage is seeking a Global Account Manager (GAM) in Stockholm, Sweden, to lead a subset of global Telco accounts. The GAM will coordinate strategy and team-selling efforts to close business, exceed quota, prospect, close global contracts, and build relationships with large global customers.

The successful candidate will develop long-term relationships with Channel Partners and customers, drive satisfied, referenceable customers, maintain an accurate forecast, and work with multiple channel partners. The role requires experience and proven success opening large accounts.

Role involves:

  • Prospecting and penetrating accounts.
  • Direct strategic account planning and leadership of a global Telco account team.
  • Establishing and managing a complex relationship network with stakeholders.
  • Coordinating areas of the organization to formulate go-to-market strategies.
  • Managing customer/supplier/partner dynamics.
  • Assessing customer, market trends, and providing revenue forecasting.
  • Driving revenue growth by identifying potential markets and closing sales opportunities.
  • Delivering high-quality proposals and business value justifications.
  • Developing sales, business, and relationship plans for accounts.

Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of the customer’s business, market, and industry.
  • Ability to translate customer objectives into relevant Pure Storage propositions.
  • Effective communication skills at all levels, including the C-suite.
  • Experience working with major Nordics Telco Global Accounts and C-level executives.
  • Strong decision-making and communication skills.
  • 7-10 years of successful global accounts/enterprise solution selling within technology services.
  • Ability to lead and manage an international and distributed team.
  • Strategic thinking and sales transformation program experience.
  • Deep work experience in Telecommunications / IT Industry.
  • Enterprise Storage desirable.
