Pure Storage is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the public sector in Tokyo, Japan. This role involves understanding customer business and decision-making factors, advocating for the company's products, and leading technical sales activities.
- Provide technical leadership in sales activities.
- Understand customer needs and propose innovative solutions.

- 5+ years of experience in sales support for storage, networking, and system solutions.
- Deep understanding of server and web-based computing architectures.
- Experience targeting and closing new prospects.
- Knowledge of storage architectures (FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, SAN).
- Knowledge of UNIX OS, NFS file systems, and UNIX distributed network environments.
- Familiarity with distributed computing, multi-processing, and storage subsystem architectures.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
