Pure Storage is seeking a System Engineer to drive business growth by leveraging technical expertise. The candidate will refine sales strategy, manage evaluations, and deliver product presentations. The role involves understanding customer needs, translating them into solutions, and contributing to RFP responses. The System Engineer will also stay current with market trends and competitive landscape to promote thought leadership within the organization.
- Developing an understanding of customer's business and motivation
- Refining sales strategy and tactics
- Delighting customers and teammates with technical leadership
- Taking control of evaluations and benchmarks
- Building and delivering technical product and architecture presentations
- Capturing requirements and translating Customer’s business needs into innovative solutions
- Authoring responses to RFI & RFPs
Requirements:
- Fluent English and Swedish language skills
- Pre-sales experience
- 5+ years of experience supporting the sales of enterprise storage, networking or systems solutions
- Deep understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing solutions
- Experience in targeting new prospects
- Knowledge of current and emerging storage architectures
