Systems Engineer, RoME (Kuwait). UAE office at Pure Storage

Pure Storage is seeking a Systems Engineer to join their team in Dubai, UAE. This role involves developing a deep understanding of customer's business drivers and presenting Pure Storage solutions. The Systems Engineer will refine sales strategies, take responsibility for technical aspects, and provide technical leadership to both customers and teammates. This position demands expertise in storage products, distributed storage architectures, file systems, and competitive storage offerings.

• Develop an exhaustive understanding of customer's business.
• Bring to light the advantages of Pure Storage solutions.
• Refine sales strategy and tactics.
• Take control of evaluations and benchmarks, system configurations, and system installations
• Build and deliver technical product and architecture presentations.
• Capture requirements and translate customer's business needs into innovative solutions.

Requirements for the role include 5-10 years of pre-sales experience in enterprise storage, networking, or systems solutions, a deep understanding of storage architectures, knowledge of UNIX OS, NFS file systems, and familiarity with cloud-native architectures.

• 5-10 years minimum experience supporting the sales of enterprise storage, networking or systems solutions.
• Deep understanding of the architecture, design and implementation of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing solutions.
• Superior knowledge of current and emerging storage architectures (FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, SAN)
• UNIX OS, NFS file systems and UNIX distributed network environment
• Knowledge of VMWare, Local Area Networking, Ethernet, TCP/IP and general networking
• BS in CS, EE or other technical degree and/or equivalent experience
