Job Description
Pure Storage is seeking a Director of GTM Sourcing to join their Corporate Sourcing and Procurement team. This role is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies that align with GTM’s objectives, optimize supplier performance, reduce costs, consolidate spend, and enhance supply chain resilience across CX, Sales, and Marketing. The Director will lead sourcing initiatives that align with company strategy and priorities, drive supplier performance, and expand spend under management.
What this role involves:
- Developing and executing a GTM Sourcing Strategy that aligns with company goals.
- Negotiating global spend for key GTM-related categories.
- Leading supplier selection, supplier performance management, and supply base optimization.
- Implementing and managing a Preferred Supplier Program.
- Developing and executing sourcing strategies to streamline applications and reduce redundant systems.
- Negotiating contracts and business terms with key suppliers.
- Leveraging data analytics to monitor and report on key sourcing metrics.
- Collaborating with Legal to establish optimal contract terms and ensure compliance.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in Sourcing, Procurement, or Supply Chain Management with a strong focus on GTM-related functions (CX, Sales, Marketing).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
- Proven ability to build and manage strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing cost savings.
- Ability to analyze data, track savings, and use reporting tools.
- Experience in leading and scaling a global sourcing team.
- Detail-oriented, customer-focused, process-savvy, and adaptable.
