Finance Risk & Control Manager

Job Description

Tide is seeking a Finance Risk & Control Manager to ensure the smooth operation of Tide’s global Finance function. The successful candidate will develop, document, and maintain comprehensive policies and procedures that enhance operational efficiency, ensure compliance, and mitigate risk for the company.

The role involves:

• Developing and maintaining comprehensive policies and procedures for key finance and accounting processes.
• Conducting process mapping and analysis to identify key control points and risks.
• Providing training and support to Finance team members on policies and procedures.
• Monitoring adherence to established policies and procedures and investigating deviations.
• Staying informed of regulatory changes and best practices.
• Overseeing the implementation of new policies and procedures.

Tide requires the candidate to have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in a finance/accounting role with a focus on policies and procedures.
• Proven expertise in developing and maintaining policies and procedures.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and best practices.
• Experience in process mapping and analysis techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
