Tide is seeking a Senior Legal Operations Associate to join their Legal and Privacy Team. This role involves designing, streamlining, and optimizing legal processes, focusing on efficiency and effectiveness. The ideal candidate will be data-driven, possess strong communication skills, and be adept at cross-functional collaboration.
As the first Legal Operations Associate at Tide, this role will have a global remit and the individual will have the opportunity to define and drive strategic and operational solutions to improve overall Legal team performance.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying and implementing process improvements
- Collecting, analysing, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Assisting in the selection, implementation, and management of legal technology solutions
- Supporting privacy operations
- Maintaining an adequate and up to date contract repository, legal risk register, backlog of legal work, etc.
- Building and maintaining data dashboards and reports on legal team performance
- Coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders to prioritise, deliver and track the statuses of legal deliverables
- Coordinating the delivery of trainings and awareness campaigns across the business and within the Legal team
- Monitoring legal spend and ensuring compliance with budgetary constraints
- Coordinating external counsel management and supply chain activities to ensure timely delivery of legal advice
- Organising operational and in-person events for the Legal team - including socials!
Requirements:
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in project management and/or designing, implementing and improving legal processes.
- Innovative thinker with a passion for driving efficiency through optimisation.
- Organised, pragmatic and capable of leading cross-functional collaboration
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
- Eager to learn and thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented business setting.
- Proactive with a can-do attitude, taking ownership of resolving issues.
- Exceptional organisational skills and thrive on juggling multiple projects simultaneously.
