Tide is seeking a Senior Data Analytics Engineer to join their team. The role involves building and running data pipelines and services to support marketing and business functions. The engineer will work with BigQuery/Snowflake, Airflow, Stitch/Fivetran, dbt, and Tableau/Looker. Tide is headquartered in London, and has offices in Sofia, Hyderabad, Delhi, Berlin and Belgrade and employs over 2000 employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Designing and implementing scalable processes for data extraction, processing, and analysis.
  • Translating business requirements into technical requirements.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Improving data pipeline delivery.
  • Owning the delivery of data models and reports end-to-end.
  • Performing exploratory data analysis and ensuring data quality.
  • Optimizing data feeds and ensuring availability.
  • Discovering, transforming, testing, deploying, and documenting data sources.
  • Applying and championing data warehouse governance.
  • Building Looker dashboards.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience with Snowflake or similar data warehouse technology.
  • Experience with dbt and other modern data stack technologies.
  • Experience with agile processes (SCRUM).
  • Experience writing advanced SQL statements and performance tuning.
  • Experience in data ingestion techniques.
  • Experience in data modeling.
  • Experience in data mining, data warehouse solutions, and ETL.
  • Experience architecting analytical databases in a Data Mesh architecture (advantage).
  • Experience working in agile cross-functional delivery teams.
  • High code quality standards.
  • Strong technical documentation skills.
  • Business-level English and good communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of AWS platform (good to have).
  • Experience in a digitally native company, ideally fintech (preferred).
  • Experience with Python, governance tools, or data quality tools (advantage).
  • Experience with marketing attribution and Media Mix Modelling (advantage).
  • Experience working with regulated industries (advantage).
