Job Description

Tide is seeking a Senior IT Support Engineer to specialize in the support and administration of the Atlassian stack. This role involves managing Atlassian cloud infrastructure, implementing automations using ScriptRunner, and optimizing configurations to ensure peak performance and security. The Senior IT Support Engineer will also provide 1st and 2nd line support to internal users, troubleshoot issues, manage permissions, and drive best practices to enhance efficiency and optimize the internal Atlassian ecosystem in alignment with business needs.

  • Owning, configuring, managing, maintaining, and improving the Atlassian Stack (Jira Cloud, Service Management, Confluence).
  • Working on requests from various areas of the business regarding new Jira projects or improvements to existing configurations.
  • Creating custom automations using ScriptRunner for Jira Cloud to enhance workflow and current operations.
  • Scaling the employee productivity platform to support fast-moving teams.
  • Providing 1st and 2nd line systems and application level support to end users.
  • Troubleshooting problems, answering questions, and providing training on IT Systems to end users.
  • Assisting in the maintenance and rollout of new applications and their integrations.
  • Documenting procedures, policies, technical instructions, and security practices.

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of Atlassian products (Jira Cloud, Confluence, BitBucket & Jira Service Management).
  • Hands-on experience in Jira Administration (configuring workflows, custom fields, permission schemes and notification schemes).
  • Knowledge about Identity & security (Okta would be great).
  • Working knowledge of Atlassian backend.
  • Experience in creating and implementing custom Groovy scripts via ScriptRunner in a Jira Cloud environment.
  • Experience integrating Atlassian tools with third-party systems using REST APIs.
  • Familiarity with webhooks, plugins, and connectors to extend functionality.
  • Excellent customer focus, a can-do attitude, and good communication skills.
