Job Description

Tide is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join its Identity team. This role is crucial for championing Identity across Tide, from integrating new applications with Okta to creating Just-in-Time access rules for existing applications. The Senior Security Engineer will collaborate closely with business and technology teams to define and implement least-privilege, modern access controls and patterns, ensuring Tide's Identity estate adheres to best practices. Tide is a finance platform designed to save small businesses time and money, with over 1 million small businesses across the world. The Role Involves:

  • Championing Identity across Tide
  • Collaborating with business and technology teams
  • Defining and implementing least-privilege, modern access controls
  • Ensuring our Identity estate adheres to best practices
  • Automating manual, inefficient processes

Requirements:

  • Strong expertise with modern Identity Providers such as Okta
  • Deep understanding of authentication protocols
  • Hands-on experience writing Terraform
  • Experience in scripting and automation
  • Passion for mentoring and sharing knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills
