Job Description

Tide is seeking a Senior Web Engineer to join their team in Bulgaria. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in building the leading financial platform for small businesses. They will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, reporting to the Engineering Manager, and will collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and fellow engineers to translate complex requirements into high-quality web experiences.

The Senior Web Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and shipping engaging new features and enhancements for Tide's web products. They will tackle interesting technical challenges, contribute innovative solutions, and actively participate in the Web Community of Practice. Mentoring less experienced engineers and fostering collaborative learning will also be a key aspect of the role.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing, developing, and shipping engaging new features and enhancements for our web products.
  • Tackling interesting technical challenges, contributing innovative solutions.
  • Actively participating in and contributing to our Web Community of Practice.
  • Mentoring and guiding less experienced engineers.
  • Collaborating effectively within your autonomous, agile team.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of professional experience in web development.
  • Strong command of core web technologies: Semantic HTML, CSS(3), and JavaScript(ES6).
  • Solid experience with the Angular 2+ ecosystem, including RxJS and NgRx.
  • Proficient in using modern testing tools such as Jest and Cypress.
  • Experience building visually appealing, high-performance user interfaces.
  • Strong commitment to automation testing and experience writing clean, testable code.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
