Tide is seeking an AML & PA Investigations Team Leader to prevent financial crime. The role involves managing a team of analysts, conducting investigations, and making risk-based decisions. The Team Leader must be aware of UK regulatory requirements. They will review processes, advise analysts on complex cases, and suggest improvements to existing controls.

The role will be based in Tide's first line of defense and sit within the investigations team. It will report into Tide’s AML & PA Investigations Lead.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting a team investigating various financial crime types.
  • Ensuring effective Subject Matter Expert visibility.
  • Leading assessment and improvement of procedures to prevent financial crime.
  • Providing guidance to the AML & PA team on financial crime reviews.
  • Providing AML advisory support to the company.
  • Giving input to improve processes and increase efficiencies.
  • Participating in the management and enhancement of Global AML/CTF policies.
  • Implementing and ensuring timely compliance of new standards and regulatory changes.
  • Participating in the talent acquisition process.
  • Assisting the AML & PA investigations lead with financial crime related tasks.
  • Monitoring team KPI’s on a daily basis
  • Supporting members through manager callback requests when required.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience managing or providing supervisory support to AML analysts
  • 2+ years of experience ensuring direct reports are proactively implementing policies.
  • Experience in an environment related to financial crime risks prevention.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Self-motivated and focused on regulations and risks.
  • Exceptional listening and analytical skills.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to change.
  • CAMS or ICA certifications (bonus).
