Job Description

Tide, a business management platform for small businesses, is seeking a Training Specialist to enhance its Member Operations team. The Training Specialist will focus on training and onboarding new hires, as well as upskilling existing Tideans, with a primary focus on the German market. This role involves close collaboration with all areas of the member operations teams to identify training needs and deliver high-quality training through the company's LMS platform and in-person sessions across Tide’s operational sites.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Conducting 3-week onboarding programs for new hires in Member Operations.
  • Collaborating with managers to determine training needs and scheduling upskilling sessions.
  • Creating engaging training materials using various tools and gamification techniques.
  • Monitoring key data metrics and presenting them to the team leader.
  • Assessing training effectiveness to ensure skills are incorporated into work behavior.

Requirements:

  • Native German skills and excellent verbal and written English skills.
  • Experience training in a banking/fintech environment or relevant KYC, Financial Crime, Compliance, and Transaction monitoring experience.
  • Experience in writing and conducting virtual and face-to-face training.
  • Open to feedback and eager to learn and improve.
  • Experience with stakeholder management.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of effective teaching methodologies and tools.
  • Proficiency in industry tools like GSuite, MS Office, Articulate360, Video AI, and design tools.
