PitchBook is seeking a Sr. Analyst, Industry Research, Healthcare to join their Editorial team. The ideal candidate will be immersed in the private markets, helping customers be better investors, advisors, and market participants. The Sr. Analyst will focus on Healthcare and Life Sciences coverage, honing analytical skills, developing insights into the industry, and contributing to private capital research.
Responsibilities:
- Drive PitchBook’s private market healthcare coverage.
- Publish quarterly updates on trends in Healthcare Services and Healthtech.
- Manage direct-to-client distribution channels.
- Engage with investor and corporate clients.
- Manage and maintain relevant datasets.
- Engage with clients via online and in-person meetings.
- Streamline internal processes to scale research output.
- Shape research offerings by understanding client needs.
- Serve as research point of contact for speaking engagements and press requests.
- Support the vision and values of the company.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Computer Science preferred.
- 5+ years research experience in related financial services role.
- Strong knowledge of Healthcare Services and Healthcare Technology.
- Experience writing investment research and conducting conversations with clients.
- Understanding of financial concepts such as valuation techniques.
- Strong interest in venture capital, growth equity, and emerging technologies.
- Detail-oriented and analytical mindset.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Excel proficiency.
- Experience with the PitchBook Platform a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
