Job Description

Reddit is seeking a Senior Manager, Ads Technical Program Manager to lead the Ads TPM team within the Tech PMO, supporting the Ads Product & Engineering organization. The Senior Manager will lead the team in driving cross-functional initiatives across multiple technical teams, focusing on career development, setting guidelines, sharing best practices, and providing coaching.

What this role involves:

  • Leading and managing a team of geographically dispersed Ads Technical Program Managers in the Tech PMO.
  • Hiring, developing, mentoring, and coaching TPMs to build a high-performing team.
  • Identifying resourcing needs and ensure resource gaps are addressed efficiently.
  • Leading operational excellence and continuous process improvement workstreams in partnership with leadership in the Ads organization.
  • Contributing to the strategy and roadmap of the teams you support.
  • Engaging with cross-functional teams to identify constraints, dependencies, and coordination areas.
  • Being a key driver of engineering process improvement.

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of software industry experience leading large-scale technical programs and products.
  • 7+ years of people management experience, preferably with a geographically distributed team.
  • 5+ years of experience in digital ads platforms and monetization programs.
  • Experience in finding and growing talent through coaching, mentoring, and career development.
  • Experience operating autonomously and leading across multiple teams.
  • Negotiation and effective communication experience.
  • Experience communicating and representing work to senior leadership.
  • Experience establishing and leading teams through multi-disciplinary relationships.
  • Analytical problem-solving experience with large-scale systems.
