Algo/ML Product Analyst at Via

Via is seeking an Algo/ML Product Analyst to join its R&D center in Tel Aviv. The successful candidate will be part of Via's Algo-Routing product team, focusing on research, data insights, and optimization of the product and user experience. As an Algo Product Analyst, they will collaborate closely with data scientists, algorithm developers, product managers, and business teams.

Responsibilities includes:

• Developing next-generation algorithms for solving transit problems.
• Analyzing product algorithmic behavior and performance data.
• Serving as the focal point for data-related matters within the team.
• Independently discovering product insights and collaborating with product managers to drive data-driven product priorities.
• Taking full data ownership for existing and new features.
• Creating, supporting, monitoring, and maintaining reports/dashboards.
• Initiating, owning, and managing multiple data projects.

Requirements includes:

• 3+ years of experience as a product analyst in a data-driven environment.
• Strong orientation to algorithms, mathematics, statistics, or ML.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience writing complex SQL queries and working with data lakes.
• 2+ years of experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
• Ability to develop KPIs to support product decisions.
• Exceptional ability to understand complex data and turn it into actionable insights.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills (fluency in English is needed).
• Fast learner and ability to multitask.
• B.Sc. in a quantitative field.
