Job Description

LastPass is seeking a Staff Product Owner of Billing & Payments to enhance its Commerce & FinTech Systems Team. This role is crucial for driving the scalability, automation, and optimization of LastPass's global billing and payments ecosystem. The Staff Product Owner will define and execute a product roadmap for Zuora Billing and payment platforms, ensuring operational efficiency and seamless integration with LastPass’s broader go-to-market ecosystem.

The role involves collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders across Business Technology, Product, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Engineering.

Role involves:

  • Enhancing LastPass’s Zuora Billing platform.
  • Leading the design and execution of payment processing workflows.
  • Owning the product backlog and driving initiatives to improve billing accuracy.
  • Partnering with Product and Marketing to unlock new revenue growth opportunities.
  • Collaborating with Salesforce and Data Engineering teams to ensure seamless data flows.
  • Driving automation initiatives to streamline billing, invoicing, and payment reconciliation.
  • Defining and documenting technical and operational workflows.
  • Acting as the subject matter expert for billing and payment system challenges.
  • Assessing market trends and emerging payment technologies.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst in a SaaS company, focusing on billing and payment platforms.
  • Hands-on expertise with Zuora Billing, Stripe, ChargeBee, or other subscription billing and payment solutions.
  • Experience integrating billing systems with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and ERP solutions (e.g., NetSuite).
  • Deep understanding of subscription billing models, payment processing, and revenue workflows in a SaaS environment.
  • Proficient in SQL and data analysis to troubleshoot, analyze, and optimize system performance.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to drive automation and process improvement within billing and payment systems.
