This role is pivotal in expanding Melio's reach and impact within the B2B payment ecosystem. The Strategic Partnership Manager will play a crucial role in fostering and expanding Melio's partnerships within the financial industry. They will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing strategic alliances to drive growth and innovation.
Role involves:
- Staying informed on industry trends and partner needs.
- Building trust-based relationships with partners.
- Driving new growth initiatives at existing clients.
- Closing new deals aligned with the company's framework.
- Collaborating with partners to create compelling pitches.
- Developing comprehensive playbooks for partnership conversations.
Requirements:
- 3-5+ years of experience in Partnerships, Business Development, Product Management, or Strategy.
- Experience in top-tier banking, consulting, or a leading corporation.
- Understanding of building consumer-facing experiences.
- Experience scaling external partnerships within the financial industry.
- Strong payments knowledge and understanding of payment systems.
- Deep understanding of how banks and large companies operate.
- Experience working cross-functionally across various business segments.
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to negotiate pricing effectively.
- A metrics-driven mindset, able to analyze and drive decisions through KPIs.
