Melio is seeking a Strategic Partnerships Manager to join their team in a hybrid role based in New York City. This role is pivotal in expanding Melio's reach and impact within the B2B payment ecosystem. The Strategic Partnership Manager will play a crucial role in fostering and expanding Melio's partnerships within the financial industry. They will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing strategic alliances to drive growth and innovation.

Role involves:
  • Staying informed on industry trends and partner needs.
  • Building trust-based relationships with partners.
  • Driving new growth initiatives at existing clients.
  • Closing new deals aligned with the company's framework.
  • Collaborating with partners to create compelling pitches.
  • Developing comprehensive playbooks for partnership conversations.

Requirements:
  • 3-5+ years of experience in Partnerships, Business Development, Product Management, or Strategy.
  • Experience in top-tier banking, consulting, or a leading corporation.
  • Understanding of building consumer-facing experiences.
  • Experience scaling external partnerships within the financial industry.
  • Strong payments knowledge and understanding of payment systems.
  • Deep understanding of how banks and large companies operate.
  • Experience working cross-functionally across various business segments.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to negotiate pricing effectively.
  • A metrics-driven mindset, able to analyze and drive decisions through KPIs.
