Senior Backend Engineer

Job Description

Melio is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join their team in Tel Aviv. Melio builds business-to-business (B2B) payment tools so small business owners can spend less time in the back office and more time on their craft. The Senior Backend Engineer will influence the product from overall experience to development, construct scalable databases, and use technologies such as Typescript, Node.js and AWS.

A day in the life involves:

• Influencing the product from the overall experience to the development.
• Building a product end-to-end, through the design, coding, testing, and deployment phases.

The role requires:

• 7+ years of professional experience as a software engineer, including architecture and design.
• Experience with microservices architecture and running cloud-based production environments.
• Team player who prefers collaboration.
• Passion to learn and get out of the comfort zone.
