Job Description

Twilio is seeking a Commercial Contracts Manager to join their Procurement & Real Estate Legal function. The Commercial Contracts Manager will support the Global Procurement organization across all categories of spend. As a member of the Procurement Legal function, the manager will review and vet requests for legal support on all commercial contracts-related matters and advance those requests to deal closure.

Responsibilities:

  • Advise, draft, and negotiate various contracts, including technology, professional services, commercial, and data contracts.
  • Independently negotiate MSAs, SOWs, and NDAs.
  • Draft and negotiate non-standard contractual terms.
  • Serve as an operational expert on Global Procurement contracting processes.
  • Provide commercial contracts-related education and process guidance.
  • Contribute to the Global Procurement Playbook.
  • Provide support on ad-hoc operational projects and tasks.
  • Develop and provide training and enablement resources.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7+ years of experience as a Contracts Manager, Specialist, or Paralegal
  • Proficiency in drafting and negotiating MSAs, SOWs, and NDAs
  • Experience using commercial contracting tools
  • Outstanding communication skills and attention to detail
  • Process-minded and oriented professional
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
