Job Description
Twilio is seeking a Staff Analyst to join its Security Risk Management team. This remote role, based in Ontario, Canada involves leading the daily management of the One Twilio Risk Management program and developing risk registers to track key risk indicators. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams, assess risk mitigation strategies, and prepare risk reports for senior leadership. They will utilize data analytics and risk modeling to evaluate the impact of risks and provide training on risk management processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the daily management and oversight of the One Twilio Risk Management program.
  • Develop and maintain risk registers to track key risk indicators (KRIs).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper control mechanisms.
  • Review and assess the effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver regular risk reports and presentations.
  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of risk management processes.
  • Analyze risk data from various sources to assess trends.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to support compliance assessments.
  • Provide training to internal teams on risk management processes.
  • Participate in the development of risk management policies and frameworks.
  • Work with the risk management team to enhance organizational risk culture and awareness.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of Risk Management experience.
  • Experience implementing an industry-accepted risk framework (e.g., NIST, COSO, ISO 31000).
  • Strong background in risk identification, analysis, and quantification.
  • Proven track record of managing risk assessments and compliance programs.
  • 3+ years of working with technical security and Engineering / IT to implement technical risk/control solutions.
  • Broad understanding of security domains, architecture, network, access control, software development, cryptography, and operations.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
