Job Description

Twilio is seeking a Commercial Account Executive for Segment Sales, its Customer Data Platform arm. The role involves selling Segment’s Customer Data Platform into an $80Bn TAM, primarily focusing on acquiring and expanding new logos within the Mid-Market territory.

The Commercial Account Executive will be responsible for leading the full Segment sales cycle, building the growth of Segment Mid-Market clients (up to 2000 employees). This role will navigate complex sales cycles and working closely with Sales Development, Legal, Engineering, Security, Marketing, and Product teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Build upon the growth & adoption of Segment Mid-Market clients, up to 2000 employees.
  • Lead compelling presentations of Segment’s product and vision.
  • Develop expansion opportunities from existing customer base and land new target accounts.
  • Provide timely and accurate forecasts and clear visibility on sales.
  • Partner with cross-functional internal teams to efficiently navigate complex sales cycles.
  • Engage in team development and mentoring.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a closing role at a SaaS provider.
  • Experience selling complex SaaS solutions.
  • Experience working in team selling environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
