Twilio is seeking a Partner Development Manager (PDM) for their GTM Sales Team in Japan. This role involves influencing stakeholders, aligning goals with partners, and managing sales leads and opportunities. The PDM will be the main point of contact for assigned partners, ensuring a collaborative and effective partnership.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and executing mid-long range partnership plans and strategies
  • Creating annual partnership plans
  • Aligning goals with partners to exceed targets
  • Generating and nurturing leads to convert opportunities
  • Strengthening the management relationship between Twilio and partners
  • Conducting Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR)
  • Managing pipelines and revenue forecasting
  • Representing partners within Twilio
  • Developing innovative approaches for assigned partners
  • Leading the partnership agreement process
  • Onboarding and enabling new partners

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of high-touch sales experience
  • Understanding of cloud technology and SaaS/PaaS industries
  • Proven track record of managing revenue and sales pipelines
  • Experience collaborating with partners
  • Proficiency in sales automation and business intelligence tools
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Strategic thinking and ability to translate strategy into actionable plans
  • Strong bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese
