Twilio is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join their team. This role is focused on pre-sales activities and requires a strong understanding of technology and customer data platforms. The Solutions Engineer will partner with Account Executives to qualify opportunities, discover customer needs, and demonstrate solutions. They will also act as a trusted advisor to customers, influencing their data strategy and architecture.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Account Executives in pre-sales activities.
  • Become an expert builder and evangelist of Segment's products.
  • Lead technical evaluations with prospects.
  • Develop subject matter expertise on Customer Data Platforms (CDPs).
  • Act as a trusted advisor to consult with customers and prospects.
  • Build a perspective on customer and market trends.

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing solutions engineering role (presales).
  • Curiosity and understanding of technology.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Comfortable with APIs and integration.
  • Customer-focused problem solver.
  • Experience with Data Engineering and Cloud Data Warehouses.
  • Experience with marketing technology.
