Staff, Machine Learning Engineer (L4)

Job Description

Twilio is seeking a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to join their Efficiency Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Data Science, Machine Learning, and Predictive Modeling to expand and enhance the team's AI capabilities. This role involves developing supervised machine learning models and GenAI/LLM-powered applications to meet the needs of Twilio's diverse customer base.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy AI/ML models leveraging NLP and GenAI technologies.
• Collaborate with product, program, analytics, and engineering teams.
• Utilize Python, SQL, R, AWS, and various ML libraries.
• Integrate enterprise data sources like Salesforce and Zendesk.
• Apply knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) to develop innovative GenAI use cases.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of applied ML engineering experience.
• Experience in developing and deploying AI models.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, R, and AWS services.
• Familiarity with enterprise data sources and LLMs.
